2. After failing at his own loan modification, it did not deter Art Fried from learning more because he really saw how this program could help so many people, afterall he was negotiating for homeowners since 2003, so he felt it was a no-brainer. He could not believe the number of people in his life that were having problems. It seemed like everywhere he went, someone was on the brink of losing their homes due to a myriad of reasons and they did not know what to do.
3. Soon a couple of friends heard about his own experience and came to Art Fried with a bunch of questions and no answers, desperate to save their homes. So little by little, Art Fried started lending a hand to two of them. He did the research, expanded his knowledge about Loan Modifications and discovered what he had done wrong the first time through. He kept thinking to himself, “If I had only known then”.
4. Art Fried was able to help both of them successfully modify their mortgages and save their homes. From that small beginning and word of mouth, his phone started ringing and he saw the potential to do what he has always done… start a business that is win-win based. Art could make enough money to live on while helping others.
5. That has been the basis of his approach to business from the start. So he started helping more people, expanded the idea to include educating them on how to manage their money and debt and was once again off and running. Art did not even plan it but when the opportunity presented itself, he immediately got started.
6. Art Fried formed yet another company, did a web page and some advertising and got busy helping people save their homes. He really saw the Loan Modification program as a wonderful opportunity for people to get back on their feet and to not lose those homes they had worked so hard to get. The Media was playing it up as the greatest thing since sliced bread and the future looked rosy.
